White House

By a series of strange coincidences, I had a trellis style sculpture placed in the White House for a day, during the 2016 China State Dinner.  It was covered with several beautiful rare orchids. Nature ruled as the sculpture was in the end barely visible. However, the photograph here shows a very similar sculpture.

Listings on several “reputable” real estate websites boast a newly painted apartments with a great views, plenty of light, privacy, and beautiful gardens, these are examples of what I found instead:

Go Brooklyn!

Today and tomorrow, my studio is  part of the extravaganza that is Go Brooklyn where everyone in the community can register, visit studios, and vote on artists' work. Artists with a certain number of votes get a show at the Brooklyn Museum.

So, come on down to my studio on the 5th floor at 62 18th St., Brooklyn. There are several great  artists in this building.

Tour dates and hours are September 8-9, 2012, from 11 am to 7 pm.

New Studio

I've recently moved into a new studio, with a view of the sunset behind the Statue of Liberty and some studio-floor-mates who keep things upbeat and interesting.

After tearing down a wall, settling in, getting the waxes going, I've started getting ready for the Go Brooklyn tour. We're setting up the lights and hanging some work.

Let the fun begin!
